Nitrile rubber can tolerate short term dry running of the sealing lip. The operating temperature range without failure of nitrile rubber is 40 to +100 C. This is a high quality cable tray that's sturdy and easy to install and use. It can hold a bunch of cables, and even heavier things like power strips securely. The installation process was easy, and I found the instructions to be sufficiently clear, once set up I found it a breeze to route cables and a power bar that I had attached to the underside of my desk with VHB tape. I think this is a good value for the quality of the product and would happily recommend this to others who want a mesh type cable management system like this!

Well made and sizeable cable management system. Pretty easy to assemble and install. The cable tray attaches under the desk/table top with two bracket and associated screws. You'll need about 4 " - 6" clear from the back edge on the under side of the top to make this work. Has a metal plate in the bottom of the netting for setting a power strip.
