This shot peening compresses the surface of the steel thereby increasing the tensile strength of the spring. Great for your truck when you need just a little extra place to haul groceries.

When you run out of room in the back seat of the truck, this is a little way to add a little structure and keep it from rolling around on the trip home. These are great in that they have compartments, as well as provide a wall to keep things form slamming to the front when you hit the breaks.
