I was looking for a light to hang with my outdoor table that has an umbrella. I did not know this was a thing! But I am glad I found it! It fits perfect, snaps right on. I bought this lamp for my bell tent, which has a center pole. It did exactly what I wanted it to do: provide light to my whole tent instead of depending on a lantern or flashlight. The USB is just for powering the light from an ac source (which is pointless for what I use it for).
