He is accompanied here by drummer Dave Bailey, bassist Ben Tucker, conga drummer Alec Dorsey, and the great pianist Tommy Flanagan. The LP marks the latter musician's only existing collaboration with Mulligan. Recorded in 1958 59, What Is There to Say? (Columbia CS8116) showcases the saxophonist in one of his regular piano less quartets, with Art Farmer on trumpet, Bill Crow on bass, and Dave Bailey
