But I digress. With no time to return to Dutchess County—or even Sardinia—there I was, frantically searching for something that wouldn’t make me look like an underdressed disaster among the crème de la crème. Amazon to the rescue. I stumbled upon this navy blue tuxedo with a black shawl collar and, in a state of mild desperation, ordered it around midnight.
