Tom WesselmannTom Wesselmann is besides Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Robert Rauschenberg and Claes Oldenburg one of the most prominent artists of the American Pop Art who had their international breakthrough at the beginning of the 1960's and gained popularity almost like no other art trend of the post war time. Wesselmann, born in Cinncinati Ohio in 1931, has worked already since the 1950's mostly with collages including found objects and elements of publicity.

The ceramic feel

This item has a sturdy feel to it. The texture and weight is giving a ceramic feel. This piece has an elegant matte finish, screams modern solids. The pump is a bit meh but works well. All together a very fine piece of decor. Recommend with high marks.
